Roy Plhak made the switch to Evans NPG for his Valkyrie to safely cool the 1520cc liquid-cooled horizontally opposed 6-cylinder [belt-driven overhead camshafts, six 28mm constant-velocity carburetors] engine. After making the upgrade to NPG in February 2000, Roy has logged 5000 miles without worry or incident.

1995 Gold Wing SE

Roy Plhak converted this 1995 Gold Wing SE to Evans NPG in February 2000 then, as he put it, "...20K miles was added after Evans was added. Those were hard miles in that I went to and from Alaska on the Alcan Highway and then headed down the west coast through Death Valley at 118° F. Temperatures on the trip ranged from 38° F to 118° F. No problems whatsoever."

Alistair Smith won the 1999 Mid-Atlantic U.S. Motorcycle Racing Championship Series, lightweight sportsman expert class. He safely pushed his bike to the edge by keeping it cool with Evans NPG.
