EVANS COOLING PONTIAC RUNS STRONGLY IN NASCAR PEPSI 150 AT WATKINS GLEN, NY.

In the Team's first race outing since October last year, the Evans crew and Driver Rick Bell put in a competitive charge by running as high as 4th and finishing 8th in the Busch Race on August 12th at Watkins Glen, NY. The team has been busy using the race car to test a new NPG coolant which will be released for sale later this fall. This race was the first time the car was available for competition.

The Evans Cooling Pontiac's engine performed flawlessly in the 2 hour race, while using the new NPG+ coolant, finishing only 8.2 seconds behind the leader, well known Andy Santaire from the NASCAR Busch south series. The finish was especially successful for the Evans crew as they were able to improve the older '96 V-8 engine, by using the benefits of Evans NPG+ coolant, and the engine was made to run competitively against the other 38 race cars' more current engines which had as much as 30 more horsepower. The race, with its strong finish, was a great success and a showcase for the Evans technology.

Watch for the Evans Pontiac on the SpeedVision Sports Channel on October 13th at the Burnam 150 NASCAR race at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. The team will run even stronger with the promise of a new engine and with NPG+ in the car.
