| Evans pulleys are manufactured from the finest 6061-T6 billet aluminum for maximum durability. Our pump and crankshaft pulleys are designed for optimum pump drive ratios and maximum cooling system performance. Street rod pulleys allow a 25-50% increase in pump speed, providing improved cooling at low rpm during those hot "cruise nights." For the racer, Evans designed pulleys allow pump speed tuning to maintain maximum flow and durability within the desirable 4,500 - 7,000 pump rpm range. The V-belt pulley grooves are widened to allow belts to sit deeper in the grooves. Pump pulleys have a dual bolt pattern that fits the Chevy/Ford hubs. OEM replacement pulleys have the stock bolt pattern for that convenient "bolt-on-ability." |

4000 Series coolant pump pulleys are designed to work with a standard coolant
pump. These pulleys come with an adapter bushing so they can be used with
either a 5/8" or 3/4" shaft. When used with some aftermarket pumps and/or
other style pulleys, our shim kits E4400 or E4405 may be required. E4010 5.0" diameter, double groove V belt, 2.5" back spacing ('72-82 Corvette). pulleys. To achieve correct alignment with some aftermarket coolant pumps
and/or other style pulleys, our shim kits E4400 or E4405 may be required.
